Our mission is to support both students and their families with learning differences and special needs through individualized programming, group sessions and community engagement. We offer specialized programs designed to meet the unique needs of those on the Autism Spectrum, ADHD, Developmental Delay, Behavior Disorders, Learning Disorders, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and more.
Special Education Advocacy
Navigating the public school special education system can be complicated and frustrating at times. Our role is to support you and your child so that you can receive all that you are afforded under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Free Appropriate Pubic Education (FAPE) section 504. Our goal will always be to work in partnership with your child’s educational team with a problem solving mind set so that your child gets the best possible outcome.GET STARTED
We offer 1:1 tutoring with qualified tutors who will assess your child’s current reading and or math level and then focus on strengthening areas of weakness. If your child has an IEP, we will focus on helping your child meet his/her goals and objectives. Tutoring is available as individual sessions or in a variety of discounted packages.
Life Skills Training
Our Life Skills Training is tailored to meet the individual needs of each student. Education and training will encompass a variety of methods including role playing, web-based programs, written exercises, and practical applications. It includes a variety of topics from managing emotions, organizational skills for home and school, Internet safety, bullying, and much more.
We offer In-Home support on a limited, case by case basis. In-Home support services include setting up routines and schedules, behavior plans that include rewards and consequences and general training of family members in best practices for supporting special needs family member.GET STARTED
Social Skills Training
We offer Social Skills Training utilizing an evidence-based group treatment program for children, teens and young adults in both a small group setting and/or a 1:1 setting with structured outings to practice the skills learned. Both the small group and the 1:1 social skills training include a complimentary membership to one of our Social Clubs that meet monthly.
Our Pre-Employment Training will focus on basic prerequisite work skills needed for successful employment. Topics covered will include: skills survey, filling out applications and other forms, professionalism, problem solving, time management, and much more.
